General Assembly (GA)

Head Chair
Elena Li
Hi, my name is Elena, and I am a 15-year-old studying at Mont’Kiara International School. Over the past 3 years in MUN, I have been grateful for the opportunities given to me as a delegate, resolving real-world issues by collaborating with other enthusiastic pupils. Though I have participated in numerous conferences, this will be my first time chairing. The General Assembly acts as the central forum for multilateral discussion on a wide variety of global issues, allowing delegates to explore different spectrums of global politics. I hope to create a safe and respected environment where delegates feel encouraged to participate. I am looking forward to meeting all of you in January.

Deputy Chair
Jaelyn Lee
Hello! My name is Jaelyn Lee and I am a 9th grader at Singapore American School. Being a delegate has provided me opportunities to dive into conferences with enthusiasm, collaborate with others from different backgrounds, and advocate for topics that genuinely inspire me. The General Assembly particularly holds my interest as the committee represents a setting for multifaceted discussions about a spectrum of international issues. The committee not only emphasizes the need to advocate for your own delegation, but to understand and meet everyone's needs. Given the above, I am extremely excited to serve as a Deputy Chair for the General Assembly at MYMUN this January
