Head Chair
Seher Chaturvedi

Hi, my name is Seher, and I am in 9th grade at Singapore American School. Since I started MUN two years ago, I have attended a lot of conferences, and it has greatly enhanced my time in school. Collaborating with new delegates and debating has always sparked an interest in me. I believe that DISEC is one of the most interesting committees that MUN has to offer. Addressing issues of global security and collaborating to promote international peace is something that has always intrigued me. So, to be offered the role of Head Chair at DISEC is a huge honor for me. I can’t wait to see you all in January, to see how you all collaborate in solving these crucial issues.

Deputy Chair
Devina Singhal

Hi, I’m Devina. I’m 14 years old, and I’m a 9th grader at Singapore American School. Though I just joined MUN last year, this experience has changed me a lot. Before MUN I was a pretty shy person, but debating about important issues allowed me to come out of my shell, and meet a lot of great people.  I am excited to be a Chair at DISEC because this committee promotes world peace through tackling relevant security issues, such as cyber attacks, which are important to the entire globe. It also involves finding solutions to disarmament the impact of modern technology on warfare, so I look forward to seeing the solutions you guys come up with. I am proud to serve as the Deputy Chair for DISEC at MYMUN. See you in January!
