Hi! My name is Maliha Ganesh, and I am 16 years old and currently at Singapore American School. As someone who has been a part of MUN since middle school, I have been able to attend multiple conferences and engage in exciting debate. But above all that, its given me the joy of meeting new people, making friends and has given me a safe space that I share with other delegates! One of the conferences that shaped me the most and I hold deeply close to my heart is CHEMUN. It was the first time I felt truly confident in representing France —surrounded by strong delegates who pushed my thinking. The energy of the committee, research sessions with friends, and 3-day experience is the reason why I love MUN. As we step into committee this January, I hope MYMUN becomes not just a conference you attend, but a story you’ll carry forever– I can’t wait to begin that journey with all of you!
Committee Topics
-
Addressing Regional Education Systems in the Digital Era
-
Addressing Territorial Disputes and Maritime Security in the South China Sea
-
Addressing Economic Inequality and Wealth Disparity in Southeast Asia
Hello delegates! My name is Kajsa Embro and I’m studying at Mont Kiara International School in Kuala Lumpur. I’m super excited to be your chair in this conference. I’m in the 9th grade and this is my 4th year of MUN. I’ve attended 6 conferences as a delegate and I’ve chaired once before so I’m very familiar with the structure and process of a conference. As a delegate, I’ve represented a number of different countries in a number of different committees from which I’ve gained many speaking and writing skills. I’ve most enjoyed peony part of ASEAN since I’ve gotten involved with problems where I live and spend my time which has been really eye opening for me.

I hope that you have very fun at this conference and I’m truly looking forward to being your head chair in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you this upcoming winter!
